Student housing comes in many different forms, whether it is university owned halls of residence, specialist student housing companies or privately-owned student housing.

Each of these has different reasons for people selecting them, but they all have one thing in common at the end of the day and that is the students will move out. In the majority of cases their post will not get redirected…

One audience two methods of delivery

Halls of residence portals

Whether it is a university halls of residence or a private company run building, they generally have one thing in common. That is that there is some form of portal for the management to communicate with the residents. It is this method of interaction that would like to work with you to enhance, allowing your residents to make use of our service when it comes time for them to move out.

Private landlord portals

For the private landlords there may not be the same portal software as with the halls of residence, however we would like to work with you to create a system that you can provide to your residents. So, when they come to leave your properties at the end of the tenancy, you won't end up with a large pile of mail that needs redirecting or returning to the sender.

In 2017–18, there were 2.34 million students studying at UK higher education institutions. Whilst a small amount of this figure will be students who have stayed at home to study, the majority will have left home to new towns and cities, meaning their post will have moved with them.

Portal features could include

1. Schedulable moving dates

As we all know the universities have fixed term dates, but there may be times when the students are staying over the summer or not leaving on those dates, the system would be able to handle dynamic moving dates for each property.

2. Check students sign up status

The management control panel will be able to give you an indication of how many occupants have signed up for the service. This will allow you to run targeted marketing campaigns to drive engagement from the students to get them to sign up.

3. Internal transfers

Should some of the students residing in your properties wish to move to another property within your portfolio, our system will be able to assist you and the student in managing the transfer. So that we can notify the suppliers of the change in a timely fashion so that it doesn't cause any problems.

4. Record Other Data

Some suppliers will sometimes require additional information about accounts, to that end we can supply areas where this information can be added into the system should it be needed.

5. Request Features
